| Vibram Fivefingers (http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/index.htm) have been making toed shoes for years now and they are much beloved by the barefoot running crowd. I currently own 5 pairs (1 Bikila, 2 KSO, 1 KSO Trek, 1 Classic). You can pick them up at running stores or REI. City Sports has a good online selection. |

| @ Huhster, you forget that it's rather difficult to find either thin or large pieces of metal sticking out of the ground in Japan. They're streets are quite spotless lol |
