Stoopid Tall, A 14-Foot-Tall Bicycle

Richie Trimble rided this hand-built 14.5 feet tall bike at last Sunday at Los Angeles's CicLAvia. Trimble recorded his nerve-wracking 20 mile ride to Venice Beach with a GoPro camera that was attached to his chest. Awesome!
"14.5ft at the Seat
Built in 12 work hours
One Huffy beach cruiser, 2" square tubing, 3/4" round tubing, and 1" round tubing
26" single speed coaster brake wheelset
6 1/2 single speed bicycle chains (32.5ft of chain)
To bend the pipe i used an upside down shopping cart and a split log. Ghetto, i know, but hey - IT WORKS

KUMO by Manami Keiji of Sora Design is a tiny crib for babies inspired by the different shapes of clouds. According to the designer, "We designed a little crib for babies and were inspired by the different shapes of clouds. Named after the Japanese word for cloud, 'KUMO' was born. This little crib has the shape of a cloud, but is turned upside down." The light ropes keep the crib almost float above the ground.

The colorful world map is formed from Tetris bricks. In order to keep the map have the identical shapes and colors with the real Tetris game, the artist took great care to make the map, "creating this image was like playing the game - having to rotate and move the pieces in order to get them to fit in to the shape of the world." according to Stephen Gowland of KIACO.
