Brides Throwing Cats is a Tumblr of photos that humorously show newly-hitched brides throwing cats insteads of flower bouquets. To note, no cats were actually thrown around in real life, the images are photoshopped. The site does begs the question though: What do single ladies get (instead of being next in line to marry) if they catch a cat "bouquet"?
Baloica is a temporary sound installation set at the old Convento das Dominicas in the city of Guimarães. A swing set was set up at the entryway of the convent and transformed into a musical instrument. Created by designers Cláudia Oliveira and Isabel Bourbon of creative studio Elas Duas.
Francien Hazen's Watercabinet is a greenhouse and rainwater harvesting system in one. "The Watercabinet is connected to the rain pipe. In the nursery one can grow herbs and there are watering cans and a sink with a tap so you can pump the water out of the barrel to fill a bucket for example. Everything related to gardening and water has been brought together. Ideal for a small garden or terrace."
Huang Mingbo from Taiwan, presented the collection of miniature motorcycles from lobster shells at a food art seminar in the Chinese province of Fujian to the amazement of those in attendance. The food carving specialist used nothing but lobster shell to complete the collection of intricate models which even feature wing mirrors and number plates.
