The alternative limb project provides unique prosthetics to blend in with the body or stand out as a unique piece of art, reflecting the wearer's imagination, personality and intersts. An alternative limb can help to break down social barriers, delight the eye and provide an unusual talking point.

Fitbit is introducing the $129.95 Fitbit Force, a bracelet that combines smartwatch and fitness tracker. It has a new small OLED screen right on the band so you can easily tell the time and how many steps you have taken or how many miles you've gone. It can show most of that information on the screen or you can view it through the Fitbit app, which pairs with the tracker via Bluetooth 4.0. It also features Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity to iOS and Samsung devices. When paired with an iPhone running iOS 7, you see incoming call notifications right on the display. Founded by Swedish publishing creative Fredrik Colting, Tikker is a wristwatch that counts down the user’s life from years down to seconds left. The user of the watch fills out a questionnaire and then deducts his or her age from the results to get his or her “death date.” The date is calculated based on factors like activity level, BMI, and where the wearer lives. Currently Tikker is on kickstarter. "We’re building a watch that counts down your life, in order to make the world a better place, and we need your help!"
