|Today, Amazon got into the streaming-stick game with the announcement of the $39 Fire TV Stick, an HDMI-port plugin for your HDTV that will replicate much of the functionality of the full-size Fire TV. The device features all the popular streaming apps and services including Netflix, Spotify, Pandora Hulu, Plex, and of course, Amazon Instant Video. Existing Amazon Prime members can preorder the stick for just $19 in the next couple of days, but it won’t ship until November 19, according to Amazon’s site. Powered by a dual-core processor, 8GBs of storage, a VideoCore 4 GPU support for Dolby Digital Plus surround sound. It's also compatible with Amazon's Fire Game Controller and other Bluetooth-enabled gamepads that you can use with Amazon's gaming library.
