Shelby Releases 50th Anniversary Cobra
Car | SportsCars
To celebrate 50 years since the Shelby Cobra made its mark on the FIA racing world, Shelby American has created a special limited-production Continuation Cobra called the CSX7000 Shelby 289 FIA Cobra. Limited to just 50 units, prices start at $94,995 for the fiberglass models and $159,995 for an aluminum body.
"With a small block V8 pushing only 2,100 lbs., it's the lightest Cobra ever built with an incredible power-to-weight ratio. This allows the small block Cobra to dive deep into corners and pull through with incredible precision and accuracy." More images jump more.

It got so cold so quickly in this Norwegian bay that it froze a bunch of fish swimming in it. In the image above, taken by Ingolf Kristiansen from the tiny island of Lovund in central Norway, a dog stands on the frozen surface. “I've never seen anything like it. It has not happened before here as far as I know,” he told NRK, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.
So, how cold is too cold? 17.96 degrees Farenheit, apparently. Though it was “only” -7.8°C (18 °F), a sharp eastern wind was enough to freeze a large quantity of fish in place. The below is image of a moose froze in a Norwegian body of water.

This visualization shows how global temperatures have risen from 1950 through the end of 2013.
NASA scientists say 2013 tied for the seventh warmest of any year since 1880, continuing a long-term trend of rising global temperatures. With the exception of 1998, the 10 warmest years in the 133-year record all have occurred since 2000, with 2010 and 2005 ranking as the hottest years on record.

Reverse Listening Device by Dominic Wilcox.
"Here’s my second object for my Selfridges window at the Festival of Imagination. I thought to myself ‘what would it sound like if I could hear the things that happened on my left side through my right ear?’ So I decided to make this Reverse Listening Device, and it actually works. It sounds very strange and I now will wear it at all times."

The Nomad Nightstand is a minimalist design created by Netherlands-based designer Spell. The table comes with a smartphone and tablet stand that's embedded in the top surface. Cool design.
"After a long day you just want to have your handheld devices at one place before bedtime. Now your tablet and phone devices will always be ready and charged up for the new day to come. As an addtion to the Nomad series, the Nomad Nightstand is a natural brother to the family. With its extra compartment, all cables and chargers can be stored out of sight and charged from one main AC supply. Ready to be used after reading an e-book or watching a movie before bedtime."

iWatch Concept

iWatch Concept

Created by San Francisco-based professional interface designer Todd Hamilton, this new iWatch concept fuses the sleek design of the Nike FuelBand with the minimalist interface treatments of Apple's iOS 7.
Todd explains a little more about the inspiration behind his iWatch concept design:
“A few months ago Thomas Bogner posted an iWatch mockup on Dribbble that looked like a marriage between a Nike Fuelband and an iPhone. It was an impressive concept that got a lot of people excited including myself. However, it had a major flaw: the orientation of the interface made it impossible to use.
I had some free time over the holidays so I decided to take a stab at the problem and create a more user friendly concept. I wanted to retain a slim form factor like the Fuelband and incorporate familiar UI components from iOS 7. It needed to feel natural on the wrist and look like something Apple would actually produce.”
