Lamborghini has unveiled a plug-in hybrid concept inside a body style that's less angular and extreme than what we're used to seeing from the Italian hypercar maker. Powered by  a gas-powered 5.2L V10 that's paired with a combination of three electric motors and a hefty battery pack. The result is a maximum output of 910 hp, a 0-62 time of 3.0 seconds, a top speed of nearly 200 mph and the ability to drive up to 30 miles at speeds of up to 77 mph without burning any gas at all.

Sleeping Bag Suit is a Mattress You Can Wear
Gear | Other
It’s the King Jim wearable futon and it’s a viable alternative for frequent travelers who can’t be bothered to bring a futon, mattress, or sleeping bag when they’re out and about. The set comes with an inflatable air mat and pump for added comfort. The Wearable Futon is available online for $87.  Ideal for having in the office when you are pulling an all-nighter, it fits into a compact folder to be pulled out and worn just like a kind of coat.
"The coat-like wearable futon can be fastened at the neck and the bottoms of the legs folded up to adjust for different heights or to make it snugger in colder seasons. The pack includes an air mat so you have a full blanket and futon set that is comfortable and quick to prepare (there's even an air pump included to help). The wearable futon can be rolled up into a sack like a sleeping bag while the air bed-like mat flattens, making this super easy to store in the A4 file-sized pack."

Ronin 47,  a cool limited edition motorcycle

It's the new Ronin 47 from Ronin Motor Works, based on the Buell 1125.  Only 47 will be made. With a price tag of $38,000 per unit! The engine, oversized front rotors and frame that doubles as the fuel tank are unmistakably all Buell. But most of the rest of the bike has been completely re-stylized by Magpul. The Showa forks are gone, replaced by a cast aluminum alloy linkage fork that gives the bike its distinctive, hunched-forward look. The clutch lever housing includes a 4-way switch that controls the displays on the instruments, which have been slotted into a cast aluminum nacelle. The bike starts up via an RFID chip, which activates a receiver under the custom airbox cover.

The number of people that could be infected(on average) by one sick person.

The number of people that could be infected on average by one sick
Gear | Pic
"The reproduction number, or "R nought," is a mathematical term that tells you how contagious an infectious disease is. Specifically, it's the number of people who catch the disease from one sick person, on average, in an outbreak.*
Take, for example, measles. The virus is one of the most contagious diseases known to man. It's R0 sits around 18. That means each person with the measles spreads it to 18 people, on average, when nobody is vaccinated. (When everyone is vaccinated, the R0 drops to essentially zero for measles).
At the other end of the spectrum are viruses like HIV and hepatitis C. Their R0s tend to fall somewhere between 2 and 4. They're still big problems, but they spread much more slowly than the measles.
And that brings us back to Ebola. Despite its nasty reputation, the virus's R0 really isn't that impressive. It typically sits around 1.5 to 2.0.
Even in the current epidemic in West Africa, where the virus has been out of control, each person who has gotten sick has spread Ebola to only about two others, on average."
