Apple has released its new iPod Nano, featuring a Multi-Touch display(1.5-inch color display with 240-by-240 pixel resolution). It has hard volume buttons, Voiceover (with 29 languages), FM radio, NIke+ support, and a pedometer, and Apple's saying it has 24 hour battery life. There's a clip, too, so you can attach it right to your clothes. Available in 8GB($149) or 16GB($179).

Someone needs to come up with a silicon based watch strap for the iPod nano, so it could be worn like a watch ;)

i'm sorry, but this is, imo, the worst apple design since the beginning of ipod era. looks very cheap to me and it's like it is being cut out of photo or something. looks like unfinished product... previous generation of player is probably the most beautiful designed nano ever. even the "fat" model is prettier that this one...

Why silicone?  It's cheap looking and it gets all linty.  I have a watch-style black leather wrist strap that came with a "slide" style silver charm.  I plan on removing the charm and clipping my new Nano onto it instead - instant Nano watch!
