Weird 'snot' created by Noda Akira for Make Tokyo Meeting 07, which is an LED inserted in your nose that lights up when you breathe. Akira's nose light uses a small temperature monitor attached to an electrical circuit that fits into his nostril. Akira says that the device feels like "dried snot", and adds that it is possible to wear two at once...
"I created this work, inspired by the Egyptians and the so called Arab spring. The visual starting point is the Molotov cocktail that has been the weapon of choice for the protesters. There is a connection in any conflict between the combatants."
The Micropod(£10,890+) is a small garden studio, measuring only 2.5 x 2.0m. It looks cool.
