    MikroDok
    Gear  |  Apple

The MikroDok(on Kickstarter) is a minimal charging dock designed to hold Apple's 8-pin Lightning Cable. It features a Mikro-suction adhesive backing that allows the dock to be securely positioned and moved over and over again. This makes docking and undocking a breeze.
"The adhesive backing contains an array of microscopic craters that act like suction cups. This advanced material provides maximum adhesion strength while maintaining the ability to be moved hundreds of times without damaging the surface it’s stuck to. After several uses the backing will become dirty and gradually lose suction. Just rinse with water, air dry, and it will stick like new!"

Top 10 Godless Cities In America
    Gear  |  Pic
According to a study out Wednesday from the American Bible Society, which conducted a study to find America's most Bible-minded cities - defined as a combination of how often study participants read the Bible and how accurate they think it is, reported TIME Magazine.
A random nationwide sample of more than 46,000 adults, queried through online interviews and telephone, showed that the Bible Belt is alive and well: Cities in Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, Missouri and Louisiana are in the top 5 most Bible-minded, whereas cities on the East and West coast are at the bottom of the list.
The study also found an inverse correlation between the size of the city and "Bible friendliness," noting that "Of the top 25 Bible-minded markets, only three have a population of greater than 1 million households: Charlotte, N.C.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Dallas."
Here are the top and bottom 10 lists:
    The 10 Most Bible-Minded Cities

This visualization shows how global temperatures have risen from 1950 through the end of 2013.
NASA scientists say 2013 tied for the seventh warmest of any year since 1880, continuing a long-term trend of rising global temperatures. With the exception of 1998, the 10 warmest years in the 133-year record all have occurred since 2000, with 2010 and 2005 ranking as the hottest years on record.

In Norway it s so cold that fish are freezing in place while they
    Gear  |  Pic
It got so cold so quickly in this Norwegian bay that it froze a bunch of fish swimming in it. In the image above, taken by Ingolf Kristiansen from the tiny island of Lovund in central Norway, a dog stands on the frozen surface. “I've never seen anything like it. It has not happened before here as far as I know,” he told NRK, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.
So, how cold is too cold? 17.96 degrees Farenheit, apparently. Though it was “only” -7.8°C (18 °F), a sharp eastern wind was enough to freeze a large quantity of fish in place. The below is image of a moose froze in a Norwegian body of water.
