Poseidon Underwater Hotel

The Poseidon Undersea Resort will be the world's first 40 feet underwater hotel set to open early 2009. Besides the six restaurants, seven bars, dive shop, water sports center, retail boutique, library/lounge, theater, conference room, wedding chapel, nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, you can actually feed the fish when pushing a button from a control console. An elevator gets to transport guests under the sea to the 24 suites and the luxury apartment that all have a special interior window film for privacy, even if day light hours it's nearly impossible to look into the suits from underwater. It will be set up on Fiji.

This pictures are the ICEHOTEL(SEK1120 - 3090/Night; about $177-$488) in village Jukkasjärvi, 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. This hotel building is made of ice and snow and includes a church and an ice bar. But if you get cold don't expect to find a fireplace or a heater.
"You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a special bed of snow and ice, on reindeer skins," we read. "You are awakened in the morning with a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside."
This year, the hotel was built with collaborative input from students of Stockholm's Royal Institute of Technology. Here is a price list, in Swedish krona, should you want to book a few nights.

This amazing LED tower, if you like this modern architecture or art? In Sudell Cross in Blackburn, UK where a £1.1 million marvel of light and architecture standing 10 m tall, attracts tourists much to the delight of the local shop and restaurant owners. The Braid designed by artist Simon Watkinson, is a RHOS complied steel and fabricated metal column with color changing LED fittings in the 3M Martin Architectural lights (they control transporting and are responsible for even distribution of lights).
