A new intelligent yoga mat which has been created and launched over on the Indiegogo crowd funding website this month called the SmartMat. The SmartMat has been equipped with a wealth of sensors that connect to the companion smartphone application to provide you with instruction on your positions whilst monitoring the pressure and balance of your body on the mat.
When you first unpack and activate your SmartMat, it will take you through a “calibration” process. First and foremost, this involves you inputting some basic information such as gender, height, and weight. On a deeper level, the calibration process will then ask you to lay down on SmartMat and it will take measurements to determine arm span and various ratios between your limbs. SmartMat is able to recognize the difference based on individual body types.
After the initial measurements are completed, SmartMat then takes you through a series of “baseline” poses. This is to determine what your individual abilities and limitations are. For example, in Downward Dog some can place their heels on the ground. For others, this option is just not available. SmartMat will learn these things about you and your practice in the baseline calibration setting so that it can give you intelligent and practical feedback during the heat of your sessions

This is the RipSurfer X, an exercise machine made by SurfSET Fitness. It's a strength training machine that simulates the movements of a surfer out on the waves. This machine mimics paddling in the ocean, which builds shoulder and lower back strength while improving cardio. Popping up onto the board activates the body’s core muscles and the actual riding component of the machine builds up leg strength and balance, helping you to achieve the total surfer body.

The Radinn Electric Wakeboard is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber and is equipped with lightweight lithium batteries making the board easy to carry and small enough to fit in the back of a car.  The whole board, including battery, weighs about 29 kg (64 lb). Speed is controlled by a wireless waterproof handheld remote. The board currently can travel at up to 25 knots (29 mph or 46 km/h), although the final commercial version will likely be able to go faster. One charge of the battery should reportedly be good for 45 to 60 minutes of use at mixed speeds, or 20 to 30 when going full-out. It is priced at €15,000 (about US$19,375).

Jörg Peitzker calls his invention Paleo Barefoots. Running barefoot provides complete feedback, but also puts the runner at risk of stepping on something sharp and painful. Additionally, running barefoot on mud can get slippery. Peitzker thinks that his chainmail shoes provide the right balance between feeling the road and getting injured by it. Chainmail also provides excellent traction. And if you run through mud or water, it’s easy to wash and dry off.
