| Dell today unveiled its first fully ruggedized laptop, the Dell Latitude XFR D630($3,900+). Designed for reliable performance in the harshest environments, it meets the strict military standard, MIL-STD 810F, for extreme temperatures, shock/drop, moisture, altitude and more. It features solid die cast magnesium alloy chassis, optional integrated touch screen, solid State Hard Drives (SSHD), shock isolated protection for hard drives and LCD display, sealed keyboard capable of withstanding the elements. It sported a 14.1-inch outdoor readable display, 2.0GHz T7250 or 2.2GHz T7500 CPU, up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, 80GB HDD,32GB / 64GB SSD, Intel GMA X3100 graphics, WiFi / Bluetooth and optional WWAN and magnesium handle. It weights starting at 8.9 lbs(4.04 kg). |
