The speakers feature "1inch (25mm) aluminium-dome tweeter mounted below rather than above a 5inch (130mm) glassfibre bass/midrange driver. " The speaker is mounted high on the wall, and they are dust, wind, and water resistant.

Danish firm Bang & Olufsen has unveiled its latest speaker system, B&O Play A9($2,800) wireless Speaker. The speaker houses two 3/4'' tweeters, two 3'' mid-range units, two 80-watt Class D amps, and an 8'' woofer with its own 160 watt amp. The new system also packs in Apple Airplay technology for wireless streaming from any Apple iMac, MacBook, iPhone, iPod or iPad with a Wi-Fi connection.
