Kite Patch,  a small, Non-Toxic sticker that Makes People Invisible to Mosquitoes

The Kite Patch is a small, powerful patch that allows humans to go virtually undetected by mosquitoes for up to 48 hours by blocking the insects’ ability to detect carbon dioxide. The patch was created by Grey Frandsen, Dr. Michelle Brown and Torrey Tayanaka of Olfactor Laboratories, and the project is currently seeking funding on IndieGogo. Watch the video.

Google officially announced their new Nexus 7 tablet today. The new tablet features a high resolution 7", 323ppi 1900x1200 IPS display. It will come equipped with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM. The tablet will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The Nexus 7 measures 7.9 inches by 4.5 inches and weighs just 11.2 ounces. Available for pre-order, $229.99 for the 16GB model and $269.99 for the 32GB version.

Samsung's Ativ Q is a Windows laptop and an Android tablet

Samsung announced the launch of its new Samsung ATIV Q tablet that runs both Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2. The 13.3" panel features a 3200 x 1800 resolution (276 PPI). Impressive! Android runs in a VM on top of Windows 8. Networking, storage and CPUs are all virtualized resources. There's even a dedicated key on the keyboard to switch between OSes.  The Samsung  ATIV Q is powered by a Intel Haswell Core i5 processor, and features include 4GB of DDR3L, a 128GB solid state disk (SSD) and connections for USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and HDMI output are provided as well as a 720p HD video and a microSD card slot for expansion. Samsung says it'll get up to 9 hours of battery life. Unfortunately no the pricing and when it is available info yet.
