Reuse of surgical cloves is strictly prohibited and the only way to ensure that the gloves don't get reused is to tear them. The Safe Cut Surgical Glove's design has a provision to tear them from the palm-side. A tab cuts through the latex when the gloves are removed. This will prevent both unintentional and intentional reuse of the gloves.

Magnetic Dumbbell by Suhyun Yoo, Hongseok Kim and Juhyeon Lee. Features:
"The strength of these electromagnets can be set by adjusting the level of electric power according to the work out intensity wanted by the user.
It is no longer necessary to carry different regular dumbbells for ten different work out levels, instead only one magnetic dumbbell will always meet the current needs of different training intensity levels.
By integrating the push-pull power of the embedded electromagnets, users are no longer bound to the local gym.
The display indicates 8-circled bars which each represents an additional weight of 3kg.
The user can conveniently choose the right training weight ranging from 3kg to 24kg at a glance.
The user can follow the repetitions of each training-set as they are indicated on the display in the middle of the device."

Graduate designer Mugi Yamamoto has designed an inkjet printer that sits on top of a stack of paper and eats its way down through the pile
"Mugi Yamamoto's diploma project is a compact inkjet printer, which is placed on top of a paper pile. When printing, “Stack” slowly moves downwards and swallows the pile until no paper is left. The paper disappears under the printer and exits on top, where it creates a new pile. Thanks to this new way of printing it is possible to remove the paper tray, the bulkiest element in common printers. This concept allows a very light appearance and avoids frequent reloading."

Fashion designer Ying Gao brought in robotics designer Simon Laroche to help create (No)where (Now)here, two dresses that activate when someone looks at them. The dresses are equipped with eye-tracking sensors. When the dress detects a person's gaze, it moves and lights up in the dark. The undulating dresses are mesmerizing to look at. The fabric moves like gentle waves, making them look alive, like some strange ocean denizens. The interactive dresses' movements come from tiny motors. The lighting effect is generated by photoluminescent thread.
Ying Gao’s statement reads: “A photograph is said to be ‘spoiled’ by blinking eyes — here however, the concept of presence and of disappearance are questioned, as the experience of chiaroscuro (clarity/obscurity) is achieved through an unfixed gaze.”
