Gear  |  Design
These robots caught my eyes. French artist Olivier Bucheron designed these Zamak Robots. Bucheron uses Cinema 4D for modeling and animation, Vray and Photoshop for post-production. Meet Bucheron's robots now, they look lovely, different or fat..:). And "I like working fast to have a quick result, that's why I use simple forms to start. Then I leave the creation for awhile-hours, days, weeks-and [when I come back to] work on it again [I] add accessories, details, refining lights, shadows, texture. What really [matters to me are] not details but the [overall seductive] aspect." -Olivier Bucheron aka Zamak Check out continue reading more pics.

Nina Braun and Her Woolly Arts

Array
Gear  |  Design
Nina Braun has a new show up at Helium Cowboy in Hamburg and instead of being shoe-based, the focus is on woolly creatures. Her approach to materials like wool and fabric are the base for her sometimes child-like and naive objects that result from an intensive working process. Her knitting and sewing work, resulting in fantastic and almost playful sculptures and objects, radically defies the thoughts of usability and conceptionalism. The below pic is the work - Tumulus, it is what seems to be a writhing mass of snakes, worms or socks with vision. [ Link ]

There are 40 emotions element on the keyboard; each of them can be the eyes, mouth or nose. It is up to users to design any cool expressions creatively. A Digital Escape

Array
Gear  |  Design
Frog design's new concept facemask - A Digital Escape. Let you see, smell and hear what you see, smell, and hear with sensory inputs of your own choosing. The device itself acts as a mask between the user and the outside world, expressing the internality of the human-device interaction. It offers a physical distinction between those moving in the real world and those who are "plugged in" to their private dimensions, the world as they wish to see it. Within the mask, smells, sounds, even air quality would be imitated to create a full sensory experience. But with this, how to kiss in the future?
