"Most of our classic bars of soap are being replaced by soap pumps. However, a lot of these pump soaps contain a lot of chemicals. Not only the soap itself, also its packaging. The main reason to use a soap pump is because it's more hygienic and easier. I wanted to give the classic, more natural bar of soap the same features so we could start using it again."
"The block contains different sizes for different needs. Dirty hands? Just use a bigger piece."
"Two glass carafes shaping a human heart when joined together. The heart is a reminder for the generally underestimated but essential role health plays in our lives. In order to prevent cardiovascular and blood pressure diseases we have to start with the root of the problem, our daily consume of food and beverage. A wine decanter is built together with a water carafe. A half half coloured mix of red and white. Red wine stands for low pressure, water stands for high pressure. The organic heart shape has been developed into two different, stand-alone objects according to the natural division of ventricles."
"When creating a 3-dimensional representation on a computer program a 'skeleton' of the object is formed, known as the wireframe. The wireframe interpretation of the glass has been engraved onto its surface — forging a relationship between the on-screen, computer-generated model and the actual physical object."
"Spray it, don’t squeeze it! Stem is designed to allow a cook to spray juice directly from a citrus fruit. No longer do you have to cut and squeeze your fruit to get the juice out like a common cook. With only one finger you can now spray citrus juice on your favorite foods evenly. Let Stem add a little zest in your kitchen and on your food!"
