The snow bike conversion kit comes in short track, long track and snow cross models, which replaces your rear wheel with a spiked track that plows through ice and snow with no problem.
"The LT (Long Track) kit is the same as the ST but with a longer track. The kit offers a 137” long track that is 12.5” wide with 2” tall paddles. This kit provides 20% more traction in deep snow over the ST kit and will give you a more secure feeling on a steep side hill allowing you to handle more extreme situations due to its added traction and longer foot print. The down side to having the longer track is that it will reduce the top speed of your bike on the trail by approximately 8 mph. It will also reduce the maneuverability simply because it is longer. The LT kit really shines for cross country riding when mounted to a suitable bike"

German design studio DING3000 has developed "Concept 1865", an e-velocipede, in collaboration with BASF. The ready-to-ride prototype features an electric drive and is made almost entirely of modern BASF plastics. only the brake, axles and motor are still made of metal. 24 different polymer applications, such as bearingless all-plastic pedals made of 'ultrason' and puncture-proof tires made of 'infinergy' — a closed cell expanded thermoplastic polyurethane — are featured in the construction of the 'concept 1865'.

SEIL Bag is a wearable signal light for cyclists. Working with that in mind is Lee Myung Su, the designer behind the SEIL Bag. It’s essentially a bag with a wireless remote control that the cyclist can use to display signals on the back, such as left or right signals, the cruise signal, the stop signal, or an emergency signal. And it is also a bag, you can use it to store your phone and wallet... The concept won a Red Dot Design Award back in 2010, and now Lee is back with plans for turning it into a reality with the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for the bag. The SEIL system is currently up for funding on Kickstarter.

At first glance, the Be.e scooter, invented by Dutch startup Van.eko, seems like a normal electric vehicle. It can go from 0-50 kph in seven seconds, has a 60-90km range, and its 2000-cycle battery can be fully charged using a standard 220V outlet in under four hours. The body made of hemp and flax fibers that have been impregnated with a biologically derived resin. The result is lightweight, nippy and nimble—which is why similar technology is used in Formula 1 cars. Interestingly, the retro-style scooters won’t be sold, but rented on a weekly or monthly basis. The scooter costs from arounds $180 a month.

Beastie, made from kevlar and fiberglass, might be the fastest bike ever - 83 miles per hour! The extraordinary appearance even make us not believe that it's a bike.
"The front section is rounded, then it widens out and widens out and then comes back in, in a very smooth curve and narrows down to the back end…the most important part in terms of dividing the air and then pulling the air back in again with the least amount of energy is to have a laminar (non-turbulent) flow over the sides of it." Graeme Obree said to Humans Invent.
