    Gear  |  Bike
This monstrosity, owned by bike collector Richard Loncraine, the bike is built on a modified track frame and the weight of the rider is on the rear wheel. There is (hopefully) a fixed gear(there are no brakes on it, we didn't find it) to keep the bike in a stable speed and has no toe-clips on the pedals. It looks like an already-folded folding bike.

    A Spokeless Bicycle

    Array

    Gear  |  Bike
Nice mechanical engineering class at Yale has built a bicycle with a spokeless back wheel. One of them, redditor zhoalander has posted pictures and wrote:
As you've probably noticed, only the back wheel is spokeless. This was done for several reasons: Manufacturing the rear wheel/rim was very expensive, so we only had one machined to see if it would work. We knew that if we could get it working for the rear wheel, it would definitely work for the front. But in the end, we ran out of time (class was only one semester long).

Gregory deGouveia has bulit a bike with awesome car wheels!
Said Degouveia, "The Kitten took me about a week for the frame and wheels. The headlights and brakes took about another week. The Kitten was built because the wheels were free. It's excessive and inefficient — it's sort of the anti-bike."

Simply for holding onto while you wait for the light to change. It's located on a little Copenhagen traffic island where cyclists wait the light. A high railing to grasp with your hand and a foot railing for putting your foot up. The foot rest reads: "Hi, cyclist! Rest your foot here... and thank you for cycling in the city." Cool, a good idea!
