Apple has officially unveiled the Apple Watch. Available in  two sizes and three models(Watch, Watch sport and Watch Edition) - original, with a custom stainless steel alloy case; Sport, with an anodized aluminum alloy case; and Edition, with an 18K gold case in yellow or rose and Sapphire crystal. Powered by a custom S1 processor and the sapphire covered touchscreen. Apple itself has developed two different fitness apps for the watch, too. The “Activity” app is meant to track your movement throughout the day. The “Workout” app, on the other hand, focuses on specific sports.  Apple also built a cool way to see your photos. You start out zoomed out, with all of your photos showing as minuscule thumbnails. Then you use the crown to zoom in. The watch uses the same gesture to zoom in and out of Apple Maps, too.

It’s called Fonhandle($13), and it’s an iPhone case with a long handle attached. Or rather, it’s a handle for your iPhone. It is currently up for funding on Kickstarter.
"Fonhandle is inspired by hafting, the act of attaching artifacts to a handle which turns them into useful objects. Humans have used this method throughout history to turn rock, metal and bone into axes and hammers, then later on – simple lenses into magnifying glasses, and then – rubber nets into fly swatters. Now it is time to do the same with the most useful object of all – the smartphone.
Fonhandle enhances your mobile experience. It opens a world of new photographic and videographic opportunities, better ergonomics, easier web browsing and other uses that have yet been discovered."

A 3D scanner app for the iPad. Itseez3D allows iPad users to convert ordinary objects such as furniture, shoes, toys, and even people, into 3D models. The app works in concert with Occipital’s Structure Sensor ($499), a snap-on hardware device launched as a Kickstarter project last fall.
“The app is targeted to consumers so that anyone who has an iPad and a Structure Sensor can make gorgeous color 3D models,” said Victor Erukhimov, CEO of Itseez. “The sensor provides 3D data for each of the pixels and the color image has three coordinate points to objects that you see in the scene.” The app sends the captured data to the cloud, where it is processed and delivered back to the iPad. Once the 3D renderings have been created users are then able to share or use them in either .ply or .obj formats.

Apple has announced its new in-car iPhone integration system, CarPlay. It's designed to be an eyes-free system which allows users to safely use their phone for information, entertainment and communication while at the wheel. Apple claimed "CarPlay has been designed from the ground up to provide drivers with an incredible experience using their iPhone in the car.” In reality, that means that it's focussed around Siri, using voice commands to help navigate your music collections, dictate text messages and deal with incoming calls.
"Once iPhone is connected to a vehicle with CarPlay integration, Siri helps you easily access your contacts, make calls, return missed calls or listen to voicemails. When incoming messages or notifications arrive, Siri provides an eyes-free experience by responding to requests through voice commands, by reading drivers’ messages and letting them dictate responses or simply make a call.
CarPlay makes driving directions more intuitive by working with Maps to anticipate destinations based on recent trips via contacts, emails or texts, and provides routing instructions, traffic conditions and ETA. You can also simply ask Siri and receive spoken turn-by-turn directions, along with Maps, which will appear on your car’s built-in display."
