Today confirmed that Halo 3 has gone gold. In other words, the game is done, complete, finito and in the can. The third and final chapter in Bungie Studios' immensely popular FPS "Halo" series after 3 years of design, development, and testing, the Microsoft's FPS juggernaut is ready for the world. Barring an act of God there is nothing that will stop Microsoft from reaching that release date and making tens of millions from game sales on launch day. Manhunt 2 for Wii

The company behind the controversial video game "Manhunt 2" has decided to postpone the release of their title. Take Two Interactive Software had made plans to release the game on July 10 Manhunt 2 for the Nintendo Wii(Pre order) and Manhunt 2 ;Sony's for the PlayStation 2 and Manhunt 2 for the Manhunt 2 PSP. After the British Board of Film Classification had banned sales of the game from U.K. shops, America's Entertainment Software Ratings Board issued an Adults Only (AO) rating for the game, severely limiting Take Two's customer base.

Mario Party 8 for Wii

We've never really gotten into this franchise before, but we're changing our tune thanks to the Wii remote. Mario Party 8 ($50) lets you and your friends take part in mini-games, using the remote for things like rowing in a river race, punching a statue to pieces, steering race cars, and handling a balancing pole while walking a tightrope. Along with the dozens of mini-games, the disc also includes six new party boards and several new game modes. It may not be as fun as drunken Twister, but hey ¡ª we all have to grow up sometime. Or something.
