GEN H-4 - Smallest One-Man Helicopter

The world's smallest one-man helicopter - GEN H-4($58,250). It is only 75-kilogram (165-pound). The GEN H-4 has a set of two rotors turning in opposite directions and can fly at a maximum speed of 50 kilometres (31 miles) per hour. According to the 75-year-old Yanagisawa, Since the concept of our helicopter came from Italy, I always wanted to take a flight in the birthplace of da Vinci, Why? Da Vinci's sketch, dated in 1493 and discovered in the 19th century, shows a vertical flight machine. As in the drawing, the GEN H-4 has no tail(Pic check out more). XSMG XSR48 Superboat

The World's first supercar on water - the XSR48, XSMG said. This 48 foot powerboat powered by two diesel engines, two thousand horsepower, top speed of 158 km/h (85 knots). The hull is made of kevlar and carbon fiber with cross linked pvc cores bonded using vinylester and epoxy resins. The interior of the boat is as sleek as its exterior. The-Jet by Cirrus

The-Jet($TBD) by Cirrus. It likes your sport car which can fly to the sky. It is a personal jet, designed easy to fly. The Jet will seat seven people. The cockpit will have two seats, and the second row will have two seats as will the third row. The jet will be powered by a single Williams FJ33-3 engine, producing 1,900 pounds-force (8,500 N) of thrust and is expected to cruise at about 300 knots (560 km/h). And it will have a parachute. Cirrus is currently taking $100,000 deposits for the jet. The jet's certification target is 2010. A very cool jet, maybe you should park it in your garage.

Xcor Lynx Rocket Plane

Xcor Aerospace announced they would carry a pilot and a single passenger to an altitude of 200,000 feet that would for about $100,000 a ride. Flight testing is expected to start in 2010. This two seater rocket ship will reach 200,000 feet, the passengers will experience about 90 seconds of weightlessness. It is not the first do this, the SpaceShipTwo by the Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic, which has six seats, it will start test-flying this year. If you ready for it, ready the money first! Garmin GPSMAP 495

Garmin unveiled the GPSMAP 495 GPS ststem($1,600; early April) is designed to target at pilots, providing pilots with SafeTaxi airport diagrams, Smart Airspace, AOPA Airport directory data. It is a slightly GPSMAP 496, since it lacks the pre-loaded City Navigator NT database and real-time XM weather data. So if you wanted to use it in a car or boat, you have to manually load the city map or marine chart data. It features high-resolution terrain maps - terrain and obstacle alerting. And Garmin's SafeTaxi features includes over 850 US airport diagrams.

SkyTran - Individual Maglev System

The UniModal Transport Solutions developed a concept for a very high-capacity and high-speed Personal Rapid Transport (PRT) network -The SkyTran. The contaminated said that "This SkyTran system operates with individual, two-passenger vehicles, which are propelled and suspended by a maglev system from overhead guideways. These are laid out in a one mile by one mile networked grid throughout the city. A large number of small departure and exit portals are placed underneath the guideways at approximately every 400 metres or at every city block."
It has no fixed routes or timetables, you can enter any departure portal, get into the first empty vehicle in the queue and select their destination. At the selected exit portal, the vehicle enters a deceleration lane where the speed is reduced until it stops at the arrival portal. Individual vehicles are capable of speeds up to 160 kilometres per hour within city limits or 240 kilometres per hour between cities. Check out more for the video of SkyTran.

A2 - Son of Concorde, Top speed at 3400MPH

A venture funded largely by the European Space Agency and the European Union. A2 being called the "Son of Concorde", the revolutionary aircraft with a top speed of 3,400mph aims to fly between London (or Brussels) and Sydney in under five hours. This commercial plane is designed to carry 300 passengers and will reach speeds of Mach 5 ¨C five times the speed of sound. Its hi-tech liquid hydrogen-powered engines will be fuelled by liquid hydrogen( will also produce few carbon emissions, making air travel much greener). At 433ft long (132m), the A2 is half the length of the Titanic and weighs 400 tonnes, lighter than a Boeing 747. If built, the cost of a ticket on the A2 - which will cruise at an altitude of 100,000ft (30,480m) - from Europe to Australia is estimated to be around £2,000. Link

Car on a Stick is a green urban transport proposal by industrial designer Ross Lovegrove. This concept bubble-shaped cars that are powered by solar canopies on the roof. The vehicles are designed to carry four passengers plus shopping, which is stored in recesses on the floor. The cars navigate automatically via voice command and satellite navigation. At night, the cars are stored atop telescopic poles, where they act as street lights and keep the ground level free of parked vehicles.
