    2016 Audi R8 V10

    Audi anveiled the 2016 Audi R8 V10 that is billed as their “fastest and most powerful production model.” Powered by a 5.2-liter V10. The 5.2 FSI is available in two versions: the  'base' V10 model kicks out 540 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque to reach 62 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 201 mph.  The upgraded V10 Plus, however, turns those figures up to 610 hp and 413 lb-ft to reach 62 in just 3.2 seconds, 124 in under ten and a 205-mph top speed. European pricing starts at €165k (roughly $185k) and 187,400 euros for the top-of-the-range version R8 V10 plus.

    50th Anniversary Shelby Cobra 427

    Ferrari reveals LaFerrari-based FXX K in Abu Dhabi

    This is the new Ferrari FXX K,  include a power output of 1021bhp. Powered by a 6.3L V12 engine and is matched with a 7-speed automatic transmission to produce a total system output of 1021bhp and more than 664lb ft of torque.  That's 71bhp more than the standard LaFerrari, with 835bhp coming from the V12 engine and 188bhp from the electric motor. Unveiled at Ferrari's Finali Mondiali event at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, the FXX K also boasts a recalibrated electronic differential, traction control, ABS, Racing SSC (Side Slip Angle Control) and a four-mode Manetinno dial on the center console to switch between levels of electric boost.     2015 Audi R8 Competition

    It debut at the LA Auto Show, Audi unveils their fastest production vehicle, the 2015 R8 Competition. Powered by  5.2-liter V10 that will deliver 570 horsepower, from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph.
    Orders for the R8 Competition begin in November, and deliveries should start in early 2015.
    "Further enhancing the unmistakable Audi R8 competition design are striking matte carbon exterior elements consisting of a fixed rear spoiler, engine bay, mirror housings, flics, side blades, front spoiler and rear diffusor. The combination of the carbon elements lower the weight of the R8 competition and also provide greater downforce. Gloss black wheels with 305 cross-section rear tires and ceramic brakes with anodized red brake calipers provide a stunning contrast to the matte carbon fiber elements. Inside, drivers will find a matte carbon fiber treatment including the center console and illuminated "R8 competition" door sill inlays."

    Mercedes-Benz has revealed a new flagship sports car, Mercedes Benz AMG GT. Replacing the SLS, the new super car is powered by a 4.0L V8 biturbo, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and with a top speed of 189 mph. The top of the line S model will hit 193 mph with a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds and has its V8 cranking out 503 hp. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S hits dealerships in the spring of 2015. The AMG GT will come the following year. Pricing has yet to be announced.

    Zagato reveals custom Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake

    Beginning with the 1960 DB4 GT, the collaboration between Aston Martin and Italian design studio Zagato has produced a beautiful shooting brake that comes right on time for the company's 95th anniversary.
    The Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake Zagato was unveiled at Chantilly Arts & Elegance Concours d’Elegance in France, and is based on the short-lived Virage. The Virage Shooting Brake Zagato is understood to carry over its original Aston Martin underpinnings, including the 490bhp V12 6.0-litre engine and rear-wheel drive layout.
