The new 2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, a four-door, four-passenger sibling to the 6 Series Coupe, arrives late next summer in the U.S, aiming at its competitors as the Audi A7 and the Mercedes-Benz CLS. Available in three models The 640i Gran Coupe, powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-6 rated at 315 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque that hits 0-62 in 5.4 seconds. And the 650i Gran Coupe and the all-wheel-drive 650i xDrive Gran Coupe, both models feature a more potent variant of BMW's twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8, 0-62 less than 4.6 seconds in either model. All three 6 Series Gran Coupe variants use BMW's eight-speed automatic transmission, and all have top speed restricted to 155 mph. Other features include adaptive LED headlamps, Active Roll Stabilization, Integral Active Steering, active cruise control, night vision with pedestrian detection, and a Bang & Olufsen surround-sound audio system.

2012 Porsche Panamera GTS

Porsche has revealed the new Panamera GTS which will go on sale in February 2012. Based on the all-wheel-drive Panamera 4S, powered by a modified 4.8-liter V8, delivering 430 horsepower at 6,700 rpm. From 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 178 mph. The new Panamera GTS other features unique black highlights, adaptive sports seats, a SportDesign steering wheel with shift paddles and GTS leather upholstery with Alcantara surfaces. US prices will be announced at a later date, more than the standard 4S.

BMW has revealed its sixth-generation 3-series sedan. BMW revealed its sixth-generation 3-series sedan. Powered by BMW's new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that first debuted in the Z4. The new four-cylinder produces 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque that can get the car from from 0-60 in 5.7 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 130 mph. Other features includes a new full-color, high-resolution Heads-Up Display; Active Blind Spot Detection System; Camera monitoring for a Lane Departure Warning System and Collision Warning; and a new Surround View system with Top View and Side View to augment the rear-view camera. The 2012 BMW 328i and 335i will arrive in U.S. showrooms in February 2012, the all-wheel-drive 328i and 335i xDrive models will be available in this summer. Check out more see more pics.

2012 Mini Cooper Coupe, which is the automaker's first production two-passenger automobile and also the fastest box-stock Mini ever. Available in three models, base Cooper Coupe, Cooper S Coupe and the John Cooper Works Coupe. Powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, and a six-speed manual transmission, a six-speed automatic is also available for the Cooper S Coupe and Cooper Coupe. The top of the line John Cooper Works gets an engine with motorsports-inspired tuning and a total of 208 horsepower that helps it from 0 -60 miles in 6.1 seconds, and a top speed of 149mph.

2012 Volkswagen Beetle

The latest version Volkswagen Beetle is coming. The new Beetle is 3.3 inches wider and 6 inches longer than the outgoing model. It is 71.2 inches wide and 168.4 inches long, and has a wider track. The bonnet is longer, a look exacerbated by the cabin being pushed back and the windshield being more upright and closer to the driver. 2012 Beetle will offer three engines: a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter gasoline five-cylinder engine, a 140-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI clean diesel engine and a 200-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder TSI turbocharged gasoline engine. Check out see more pics. 
The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will be on display this week at the 2011 New York Auto Show and the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, and will go on sale in the U.S. in September. Pricing was not announced.

2011 BMW 5 Series Sedan

The new 5 Series Sedan was officially launched. The new 5 Series Sedan has been increased length and BMW describes as the largest wheelbase in the segment. Length grows by 1.7 inches to 192.9 inches and width by 2.5 inches to 73.2 inch. It aslo features a 4th generation iDrive control screen available in two versions. The 2011 5-Series is scheduled to go on sale in Europe in March 2010, and shortly after in North America and other international markets.
At launch, the new BMW 5 Series Sedan will be available with one V-8 and one inline-6 gasoline engine. The top-of-the-range BMW 550i arrives with BMW's "reverse-flow" V-8 engine featuring twin turbochargers and High Precision direct injection for maximum output of 400 hp. The new inline-6 of the BMW 535i features a single twin-scroll turbocharger, High Precision direct injection, and, for the first time, VALVETRONIC throttle-less intake technology. It delivers a maximum output of 300 hp and 300 lb-ft. The 535i and 550i will be available with a choice of 6-speed manual transmission, BMW's new 8-speed automatic transmission, or new "Sport Automatic" 8-speed.
Later, the BMW 528i will debut with a 240 hp inline-6 featuring lightweight magnesium-aluminum construction and VALVETRONIC throttle-less intake technology for efficiency and unparalleled responsiveness.

Recently, the big news is the Tesla Model S($49,900+$7,500 federal tax credit) is official. It is not cheap, but today the Tesla CEO says Model S isn't really expensive. 2009 MINI Cooper, Cooper S Convertible is Officially

Today the 2009 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertible are now official. They will debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January. Now the Germans can order them, needn't wait that long. The Mini Cooper ragtop is priced at €22,500 while the Cooper S convertible costs €4,000 more. The first MINI Convertibles begin on March 28, 2009. And what about the new MINI? They includes the new generation of four-cylinder gasoline engines with Twin-Scroll turbochargers or fully variable valve management. Engine capacity 1,598 cc, max output 118 hp (MINI Cooper Convertible) and 172 hp (MINI Cooper S Convertible). The all-electric MINI! Yes, Cool! 500 all-electric MINI E will be availble in the US states of the California, New York and New Jersey starting sometime in 2009. The MINI E powed by a 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor fed by a high-performance rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It can hit 62 mph in 8.5 seconds, cover about 150 miles with a full charge on a current charging station in 2.5 hours. 2011 Chevy Volt

Today GM reveals the 2011 Chevy Volt, it is the first official plug-in hybrid Vehicle. For trips up to 40 miles, the Volt is powered only by electricity stored in its 16-kWh, lithium-ion battery. When the battery's energy is depleted, a gasoline/E85-powered engine generator seamlessly provides electricity to power the Volt's electric drive unit while simultaneously sustaining the charge of the battery. The Chevrolet Volt can be plugged either into a standard household 120v outlet or use 240v for charging. The Volt's battery to be charged in three hours on a 240v outlet or about eight hours on a 120v outlet. At a cost of about 80 cents per day (10 cents per kWh) for a full charge that will deliver up to 40 miles of electric driving. It delivers 150 horsepower, 273 lb-ft. (370 Nm) of instant torque, and a top speed of 100 miles per hour. With standard 7" touch screen vehicle information display, Bluetooth for cellular phone and USB/Bluetooth for music streaming.

The Lumeneo Smera(EUR 20,000 - 30,000; about $30,000-$45,000) is 2.4 metres (8 feet) long, and 80 cm (less than 3 feet) wide. It can hit a top speed of 80mph, and will take you 93 miles on one charge. The vehicle is quite narrow, and handles more like a motorcycle than a car, tilting around curves rather than turning. The wheels are powered by dual electric 20hp motors, which according to the manufacturers, will last you for 200,000 km. It is powered by a 144 volt lithium ion battery, which can be charged in a few hours. Unfortunately it just a concept now, but the SMERA line will be UE approved and available for sale from the Paris motor show, in october 2008. And good news for the French guy, customers will get a 5000 € direct refound from the French Goverment.
