ok, on the surface, a nice idea... but I would prefer to lie on a warm sandy beach rather than sit... maybe if the beach was rocky or littered with trash.

2.  those pointy bits worry me.. people and kids running on the beach (chasing a ball or frisbee?) could fall on an upturned chair...
ouch !! or worse.

funny... , and beautiful.., though, it is not much safety for kids, especially when they frolic around the beach
