| The Swiss Simon Jacomet and his team created special limited edition Spada (the Romanic word for sword). The stone skis(Grisons gneiss from the Calancatal valley). The stone core extending all along the ski is wrapped in carbon fiber to allow it to flex without breaking. This new material combination CFS (CarbonFiberStone) has some very special qualities. The core of the skis is made of aluminum which is meant to dampen vibration. Stone gets fantastic characteristics, it is flexible, extremely durable, resilient and compressive. The result is a ski with incomparable agility, grip and smoothness. This swiss company Zai, they will product only 500 pairs this year. | |
