The Sony SmartWatch($149) is essentially a tiny touchscreen that allows you to control and interact with your smartphone via Bluetooth. It’s a small one, mind, a 1.3-inch color OLED panel running at mere 128 x 128 resolution and supporting two-finger multitouch gestures. The only physical control is a power button on the right edge. It allows you to read sms and email messages, control your phone's camera, read calendar appointments, and use services like Twitter and Facebook. In order to use the SmartWatch you'll also need Sony's LiveWare app along with the SmartWatch plug-in. Priced at $149 and due to arrive in stores later this month.
