| Rossignol has came up with the Hit Jacket($700), which is a breathable jacket with battery heating function. It features four heating panels integrated into the jacket's lining are linked to a rechargeable battery, stored in the inside left pocket of the jacket. When you are cold simply turn on the system by pressing the button on the battery which triggers the autonomous system into a 20 minute operating cycles. The internal battery has enough juice to heat you 6 times in a day. The battery can by charged on the fly and even swapped for a fully charged one. And it uses waterproof stretch material that the skiers feel the cold sitting standing still, on ski-lifts or in particularly bad weather. |
