Plastic bottle light

Can a plastic bottle full of water become a 60W lightbulb? Check out this simple and revolutionary Brazilian invention.
Alfredo Mozer of São Paulo invented the plastic bottle lamp.
Though it works only during the day, it provides light equivalent to that of a 40 to 60 watt light bulb. Green idea.

I am still not convinced that this thing lights anything inside a room... it is a very nice idea which i like but the result doesn't convince me. The only UP is the purpose of this idea. All the rest are downs... Hope they find a better way and improve this thing :)
