| Haha, my mom does this; it's called Marbling and it's done by mixing water with a chemical derived from seaweed to thicken it so that the paint will float on top of it. Some really neat stuff can be made. |

| this is not a new technique. its called "ebru" its an old turkis art. during the ottoman emp. the produce different styles on water. |

| It is Turkish Ebrû. It is a specific kind of paper marbling. |
