| Sprint has announced its first 3G/4G WiMAX mobile hotspot, the Overdrive, made by Sierra Wireless. The Overdrive will let you conncect up five Wi-Fi-enabled devices simultaneously to Sprint’s 3G or 4G WiMAX, offers you a connection is up to 10 times faster than regular 3G speed, the Overdrive will switch over to Sprint's nationwide 3G network when 4G isn't available. Other features include an LCD that shows battery life and Internet connection status and built-in GPS capability. The Overdrive will be available starting on January 10th for $99.99 with a 2-year contract and after a $50 mail-in-rebate. 3G/4G data plans start at $59.99 per month. |
