| Today Nintendo announced a new handheld gaming console that they updated a new version of the Nintendo DS - Nintendo DSi. Announced in Japan Thursday morning. This DSi measures in at 0.1 inch less than than the DS Lite(12% thinner); the 17% bigger(3.25 inches) than original 3" LCD; and packed a 0.3 megapixel(640x480) camera on the exterior of the case, with another camera on the interior hinge. It also included a SD memory card slot. A new Internet browser will also be installed on the machine, allowing people to browse the Web and the DSi Shop to download games and applications to SD cards. The DSi will launch in Japan on November 1 for JPY 18,900 ($179). International releases will follow in 2009. Check out see more pics. |
