| We've never really gotten into this franchise before, but we're changing our tune thanks to the Wii remote. Mario Party 8 ($50) lets you and your friends take part in mini-games, using the remote for things like rowing in a river race, punching a statue to pieces, steering race cars, and handling a balancing pole while walking a tightrope. Along with the dozens of mini-games, the disc also includes six new party boards and several new game modes. It may not be as fun as drunken Twister, but hey ¡ª we all have to grow up sometime. Or something. |
