Cool.
mhm wait.. it "stops GPS tracking, provides data protection, and prevents texting and driving. Voicemail rings, beeps, blings or vibes will not be heard"
On second thought, my phone already has this. it called "off-switch". Its quite simple,i just press it, and it: "stops GPS tracking, provides data protection, and prevents texting and driving. Voicemail rings, beeps, blings or vibes will not be heard".
Really cool feature actually.
But you could also buy an overpriced and  oversized(!) bag for that.... :)

Only cool thing about it is the technology used for something already achievable by turning off your phone.

There over 300,000 mobile app's developed for smartphones, many of which are stealth and ease dropping on your every move capable of turning on functions on your phone like your  mic, camera, GPS, address book and more, even when it has been turned  off.  There is only one sure way to stop this if you really want to know for sure that you have control of your mobile device is to block all wifi coming in or going out. You could always take the battery out but that is not possible with and iPhone.
. The conveyance of instantly silencing your phone or putting the phone away when getting in your car without having to powering it down. (out of site out of mine) may save a few lives in 2012.
