The lego-loving folks build the Lego Pneumatic Engines(EUR 300; $400) for your Lego models(trucks, cars, construction machinery), using the Scotch Yoke of operation in order to keep size to a minimum, and to maximize usable torque, giving better overall power output. The 2000 rpm inline-4 model features a cross-plane crank, a gear-driven valvetrain and a side-mounted dual cam with one valve-per-cylinder. The inline-3 model features a similar setup but delivers 600 rpm more.
"The engine is only 11 studs high, making it a perfect choice for fast (approximately 1:10 and bigger scale) LEGO cars, construction machines, agricultural vehicles and other MOCs." Check out see the videos, they are very cool!

Re: halloween animatronics trick or treat bags or candy props

Hi,

I am looking to do something strange and out-of-the-ordinary for the kids this halloween. I usually make up some bags and put candy in them and hand them out.

I have and idea of maybe making or buying some halloween props and put the candy in the props. Something with toy ( miniature ) pneumantics , motion sensors , scary sounds , trap doors and glow lights when they open the prop to get the candy. It will give them a fright.

Maybe you can help me or send me to someone that can? Something that takes the place of plain old candy bags with halloween decorations on them.

Maybe you can give me some of your own suggestions and ideas, too.

Happy Halloween 2010
