The photographer Kipp Wettstein did his Large-format Camera. The first camera(top pic) has sliding focus mechanism allows for close-focus distance of 18" with the 72mm lens. The camera weighs around 4 pounds. His another project - cabon/aluminum 810. portable, wide-angle camera using a molded carbon fiber cone attached to a body plate machined from a solid block of 7075-T651 aircraft aluminum. It is a schneider 165mm super angulon and at four pounds(pic check out more).
