Today HTC Snap has been announced. It is a Windows Mobile 6.1 system smartphone, features full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4-inch(320 x 240, no touch srceen), 2 Megapixel camera, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooch 2.0+EDR, quadband GSM and dualband HSDPA/WCDMA. It is slim and sleek, less than a half-inch thick (12 mm). The specs include a 528MHz Qualcomm CPU , 256MB of ROM, 128MB of RAM, a microSDHC card slot.
"The HTC Snap is expected to be available in select channels during the second quarter of 2009, rolling out in markets around the world throughout the second half of the year. Additionally, an unlocked version supporting HSDPA at 850/1900MHz for the US market will be made available under the name HTC S522 during the summer." |
