In Belgium we have an airport that uses a regular road as a taxiway. http://bit.ly/wQK13m

North Island, New Zealand has a small regional airport, Gisborne Airport, where a railway line runs across the runway! Picture: http://www.bing.com/travel/content/search?q=Unusual+Airports%3a+Gisborne+Airport%2c+New+Zealand&FORM=RQTRAV My site: http://diytravelexpert.com

I've been there a few times, it's pretty mental. You can walk across the runway along side the cars too. They're quick to put the barriers back off as soon as the plane has flown past.
