| I've seen this thing before, and it amazes me that they're calling it a flashlight. Have you ever seen such a ridiculously huge flashlight? |

| Magpul has several covert concept weapons. No citizen can purchase any machine gun made after 1986 in the US. No exceptions. There are strict definitions of what is or is not a machine gun. If the gun does not look like a gun it needs to be registered as an NFA (National Firearms Act) weapon, $200 dollar tax paid and a stack of paperwork and finger prints sent in. This takes six months and is the same process for a pre-1986 machine gun. If the device cannot fire when closed and is semi-automatic it may skirt this regulation but that is a legal exercise for Magpul when or if they release a civilian semi-auto version. State laws may prohibit such items regardless of federal legality. As always government is exempt with very few limits. |
