We have seen the Air Shadow Ceiling Fan products. The FANAWAY can retract the fan blades when the fan is switched off. This design allows the transformation from a slim and modern light pendant to a ceiling fan with blade spans similar to conventional ceiling fans. FANAWAY is currently produced by Beacon Lighting. FANAWAY is a retracting blade ceiling fan. When switched off the fan blades automatically retract and conceal, visually transforming the unit into a slim, modern light pendant. Turning on the fan creates a centrifugal force which deploys the blades to circulate air within a room. |
