| If you want a jet in the future? Consider this Eclipse 400 Single-engine Jet($1,350,000). The Eclipse 400 is a single-jet powered plane that burn just 210 pounds per hour (about 26 gallons) at a long-range cruise speed of 256 knots. It will be certified to 41,000 feet, higher than any of the other single-engine jets. Powered by the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW615F engine. The environmentally-friendly Eclipse 400 uses less than one pound of fuel per nautical mile - making it the world's most fuel-efficient jet aircraft.
