| My dad and my oldest brother were there on opening day. My son just got his first annual pass last week, and we're going again next week for a friend's birthday. I miss the skyway, and I have to admit to some amusement in how much the trees have grown. It's most obvious in the shot of Cinderella's Castle, and the Twirling Teacups looks positively bare without the trees canopying the perimeter. |

| About the "shoot" at the front gate....This was most likely a fake shoot set up to generate excitement. I think the camera is a fake. we used to rent a fake Panavision camera to Universal studios Fl. for fake shoots in the park to make it look like something was going on in 1991. So this is an old technique, probably invented by Walt himself! If you come to Florida you can go below the castle and ask him yourself...well maybe just his head! |
