Upon reaching the last number (e.g. the 9th minute) the same servo disengages the ratchets 'stopper' and the slider then falls to the first number again. The slider positions are controlled by 3 JR servos which are regulated with a PIC16F628 microcontroller. Each servo interacts with a ratchet and pawl which are linked to the pinion which drives the slider mounted rack." Check out see the Digimech clock in action.
