Inspired by the twin-lens reflex cameras of old, Yaniv Berg's DSLR camera concept, instead of holding the snapper up to their faces, user just need to look down at the LCD. The camera body is housed in a tube, which curves toward one end where the LCD is housed. On the other side is the lens mount. Good idea?

This is a great idea.. seem very easy to use and handle.. just need a strap part.. cause ppl tend to drop their camera's a lot these days.

Based on experience with DSLRs... Bad idea. The LCD screens almost never give the detail I want - the viewfinder is much better. Focusing on a screen is a pain.

Strictly speaking, this wouldn't be an SLR, this would be an EVIL camera (Electronic viewfinder, interchangeable lens).

Also, I have yet to see a screen that works even remotely well in sunlight... that would be the biggest issue for me.

Bad idea.  Sorry, I just don't see this as anything more than a gimmick camera.  Other posters have basically summed up the rest of how I feel.
