A wooden shoulder rig for a DSLR videographer. Two handlebars, one can change the focus.
Designed by Swedish videographer Jonathan Bergqvist and his father Erik, the rig itself is made out of birch and includes a manual focus puller, actuated by twisting the left handle, that is hacked together from R/C control rod parts and a hose clamp.

When you pull the focus, does it work with every Lens and does it get around all the way...?
Why wood, why don't you get the set of metal bars that can also fit with a matte box and allows you to screw on a headlight or sth?
However really cool design and ur dad seems awesome for making that for you! Handling seems really stable.
