This is amazing, it would help with the flow of traffic, there wont be as many traffic jams, it looks spacious inside, can hold lots of people and it has safety features for those in the bus and for drivers who are to close to it... my point is i think its genius and should be done around the world in major cities

Good idea, however, it's relatively high up off the ground, what happens during a serious accident, derailment, a speeding car crashing into and most likely through the supports?

I wonder how many accidents can occur when the bus turns and not while it goes straight.

@Adam - if u watched the video (doesnt matter if u understand it) you can see that they have safety features, there will be raised platforms for people to get off and on, derailment wont be a problem because the rails will be built into grooves in the ground and a speeding car would be sensed by the bus, maybe making the bus slow down to prevent a crash. @Gus - obviously traffic lights will all be red whilst the bus is turning, just like for trains but without the bar in front of the car

I like what we do in America more, we have subway systems (trains underground). This format means there are no chances of a car vs. Subway/train accident and the sound is masked underground. What if people drive there cars into the train side? What if there is a bomb threat from someone who has a bomb underneath the train or blows a bomb up underneath the train? USA had this concept decades ago for NY.

@Adam @Not -> What if it happened on a regular bus? ^^ Risks are nearly the same. But it fixes the problem of traffic jam!

@mimi: What i wrote was wrong (i ment to write something different hehehe - i agree with what you write). What i wanted to say is that cars can move below the bus and those cars (or bikes or whatever is smaller than the bus) can overtake the bus.Fine when the bus goes straight. But what will happen if you find yourself driving the car below this bus and the bus starts to turn on the right (or on the left)??I have the feeling that this is unsafe if you know what i mean.Probably i am missing something in the safety features.

@Gus - ok lol i get what u mean now haha, um i wouldnt know maybe at the traffic lights there would be a specific light only meant for the bus to go so when they all stop the bus light comes on and it can turn. but then again i agree with u on something i dont fully think they have gone over the safety features well about the bus and outside cars and trucks

My first thought was that it was primarily a train for cars, with the option to carry people are as well. That's not the case, but this could be an alternative, to carry cars - drive on/drive off. In the not-so-distant future we'll all have sensors and controls in cars that will take control of our acceleration, braking and steering so that we can drive much close together, avoiding collisions, and even automatically take us to our destination.

想法很好,可这东西真实现很难,难道你开车一辈子都不转弯?
