Wow, it is a body amplifier and speakers by Bob Turek, Cool, a part of Bob Turek's object remix series. This hand made stereo amplifier made of a fiberglas mannequin, with speakers replacing the bust, and a music source right at the center! "This stereo forces the music source into the center of attention and creates a radically new user interface." Bob Turek said.

So, you actually think that idolizing the image of the female body, in its natural beauty, is vile and or degrading? How so? You must have been raised to believe that the human body is disgusting and should be considered shameful. Could it be that the influence of media and general society has made your opinion for you preventing you from the risk of stepping away from the herd?
What if it had been a cow? Would that be considered degrading to cows? For the record, the only thing degrading to women are women who allow themselves to be treated as lesser beings. By immediately throwing the degradation card as soon as anything implies femininity, you have filled those shoes...

so i think this is freaking hysterical. sure its moderately degrading, but i'm a liberal woman! i am going to believe this is just modern art and just plain amazing.

Some people need to lighten up... its just a set of speakers, if you don't like it don't look at it. I, a female, personally like it and can't see how it degrades me or the female form. Its different and its quirky and I like it. Feminists and prudes need to get over themselves.
