Bad design! How long do you think the iPhone will last in such a "blocking" position of the arm. If this is by any mean serious (which i doubt), one mild fight and the iDevice you put there needs a new screen.
By putting it there, they confirm this is a toy. A shiny armour for people who need to, once again, show they have a lot of money to spend.

It looks like (from the wrist, comparing the two) that the iPhone is on the INSIDE of the arm, not the outside, and a moveable cover over it.

And if you're blocking something hard enough to break an iPhone screen under a plate with the inside of your forearm, you're doing it wrong, and better to break the iPhone than your arm.
