Finally Apple iPad is official today. The Apple iPad is designed to be used for email, web browsing, photos, video, music, games and eBooks, the iPad using the iPhone OS 3.2, so it can aslo run most current iPhone apps. Featuing a 9.7-inch Multi-Touch screen, on screen keyboard, WiFi. Bluetooth 2.1, 16-64GBs of storage, and an incredible 10 hours of battery life. And it has a new app, called the iBooks(like Kindle?), you'll be able to buy and download books to read. No doubt it's pretty. But without Flash or Silverlight, not a single camera, and being able to run only one application at a time... I'll pass this time.

Everyone is going to say "it's missing this and it's missing that so I'll pass".  But when they actually hold it and try it out and as developers start to create amazing mind blowing apps...they'll cave in with techno lust.

No Flash, no multi tasking, i have one of these in my pocket right now, it's called an iPhone.  I have to wait for the apps to be convinced.

Screw flash, it's rubbish code. Way too CPU intensive, belongs to one company, not a standard. Java Script, html5, etc. are on their way to replace flash properly. look at youtube for example, not really in need for flash there anymore. stop crying about shitty stuff because you gotten used to it. instead embrace new tech and get real. honestly... do you guys believe that if flash would've been programmed properly Apple wouldn't include flash. the end of flash is not far aay anymore and apple was always very quick at ditching obsolete tech.
